Officials: Push for Wyo wind projects paying off
JACKSON ? While more work remains, federal and state efforts to
speed up the permitting of Wyoming wind farms and transmission line
projects are paying off, officials and developers say.
Wyoming?s economy remained on positive ground in January,
according to a business conditions index published by the
Denver-based Goss Institute for Economic Research.
Contracts totaling nearly $22.4 million for 12 highway projects
around the state were awarded by the Wyoming Transportation
Commission during its January meeting in Cheyenne.
